Hello everyone! I thought I’d show you guys another super casual look and something that is always on trend which is the denim on denim look. I always see this as a classic look that will never really go out of style, not to mention you can really dress it up with a pair of heels and statement jewelry. It was another beautiful day in Brooklyn and I was able to enjoy the weather, so I thought I’d share this look with you!
In other exciting news I also got a new tattoo! I haven’t shared this yet on Instagram or in my blog because it was still healing so I wanted to protect it from the sun, but I can finally show you guys! I got it at Three Kings Tattoo, they have two locations, one in Brooklyn and one in the East Village and they are really great. If any of you are ever interested in getting a tattoo and live in the area, I highly recommend this place, they did an amazing job with mine and they were very patient throughout the process.
I want to put a disclaimer out there that I do not encourage anyone to get a tattoo if it is not something you want to do for yourself. You should never feel pressured to do something that doesn’t suit you or make you happy. Remember tattoos are permanent, so although I am someone who loves tattoos and has no problem with them, not every one is which is 100% okay.
Now going back to this look, if you ever feel that you don’t know how to pull off a denim button down and jeans without it looking sloppy, just think about the accessories. Accessories go a long way with a look like this. As you see I have a pair of colorful tassel earrings, a huge trend at the moment, and a bright colored bag which adds a great pop of color. Let me know in the comments below what you’re favorite ways of wearing denim on denim are, I would love to know!
