Lace & Pink Bomber

Hey everyone! I hope you’re having a great start with your week! I spent the day in Brooklyn and wanted to share a quick outfit post. I purchased this lace cami from Express in the beginning of the summer and it’s one of my favorite lace pieces. I was very disappointed however when I first purchased it because I tried getting it in black as well but it was sold out! I really love the detailing in this piece so I wanted to get my hands on both colors but I was out of luck. 🙁 Regardless I was still so happy that the white was available.

The biggest concern I have about tops like this is that it shows a fair amount of skin and I never want it to be too much especially when I’m keeping it local and staying around the neighborhood. This is why I keep the rest of the look on the oversized/boyfriend side to tone it down a notch. Don’t get me wrong I’d love a top like this with skinny jeans and heels when going out but during the day I try to go in the other direction. If you have a piece like this yourself and are not sure how to style it for a day time look, go for a high waisted jean with a blazer or oversized open cardigan. I kept the rest of the look casual with my Golden Goose sneakers and Louis Vuitton clutch.
