I love everything about the city. Okay well maybe not everything. When the trains decide to stop working or there are so many people on the sidewalk and I’m in a rush and no one will move, I definitely don’t love that. But there are so many things that I do love. Like those lazy days when you can walk around and do some window shopping and grab a bite to eat. Just being in Manhattan when you don’t have anything planned for the day is one of the best feelings.
We started off in Tribeca at one of my current favorite designers. Nili Lotan is a go-to for me when it comes to bottoms. She has such great jeans as well as pants that I can’t help but always check out what’s there. The location on Duane Street is especially beautiful.
I just purchased the Paris pant, I will be doing an outfit post for you soon, and I have to say I like the cut on them. They fit so well and have such a cool design. Pairing this pant with some over the top embellished heels and a boyfriend tee is a go-to look. The best part is it comes in so many different colors and styles.
We then headed off to another one of my favorite boutiques. It’s called La Garçonne and they carry so many amazing designers. I always go in to see what new pieces they have from Acne, Marsèll, and Isabel Marant, amongst others. The decor of the store on Greenwich Street is stunning as well! Not only do they have beautiful clothing that includes jewelry and shoes but they have home pieces throughout the shop. It gives me such great inspo!
We finished off by going to a diner that I used to always eat at during my breaks when I attended BMCC many years ago. It’s called Gee Whiz diner and has the best burgers! If you’re ever in the area you have to try them!
