Hey guys! I have to say one of my favorite things to do on a day off is to go around and explore new places. I live in Brooklyn and everything is always changing. I wanted to go to some of my favorite spots in the back streets where there used to be just factories (there were great places that had full wall graffiti that I wanted to shoot for a new look) and the buildings were all gone! I couldn’t believe it. There are so many new condos being built everywhere it’s crazy to see just how much Brooklyn has changed since I’ve been a child. I went for a super casual look with comfortable sneakers, my favorite at the moment are my Golden Goose sneakers, I can walk in them for hours. I paired that with a jacket and pants from Scotch & Soda. I’ve previously mentioned my obsession with Scotch & Soda, I would seriously buy everything from the store, including the men’s, the clothing is amazing. I felt that I was lacking a bit of color so I just threw a plaid shirt underneath and off I went!
I was able to soak in some sun and take a moment to relax by this cute bar and restaurant on West Street. If you’re ever in the area, you can walk around on West and they have some awesome shops and restaurants. It’s very quiet and a great place to explore.
We finished the day off doing some shopping on Franklin Street. I highly recommend you guys to go and explore on Franklin Street, there are so many new shops that have opened up as well as restaurants. It’s great too because you’re right next to the water so if you want to go and relax you can just walk down Greenpoint Ave. and enjoy the view as well as walking down Kent Ave. towards Williamsburg. It’s a great area to go and check out. I love exploring all over Brooklyn, it’s always a great time.
