Hey everyone! I have lots more to share with you from my trip to Mallorca! We started the beginning of our trip exploring the city of Palma as shown above and below but we quickly hopped into our rental car and went all over the island visiting different towns.
We first went to visit a town called Andratx, which is on the west side of the island. It was absolutely beautiful. What stood out so much to me was that it was such a quiet little town, almost no people in the streets at noon. That is definitely not something you can come by in NY.
As we made our way through the town we saw a church that stood on top of a hill with amazing views. After walking around for some time we all got hungry and decided we would go to a restaurant overlooking the water. We hopped back into the car and made the 30 minute drive to Port d’Andratx. If you look in the picture above where you can see the ocean, thats exactly where we were headed. We arrived at a restaurant called Porto Bello that had just the view we were looking for. All along the street there were cute little shops selling amazing finds. I found a gift for a friend back home as well as a new bag for myself! After we took a stroll to burn off some of the food we ate, we ate a lot let me tell you, the food was amazing! We decided to get back into the car and drive up to another town called Valldemossa, which happened to be one of my favorite places we visited.During our ride to Valldemossa we had the most breathtaking views. There were plenty of rest stops so you can capture the view and take a few pictures. Once we arrived in Valldemosa I instantly fell in love. I already told my family that at some point in my life, even if it is for a short time, I have to live here. Everything about this place was so beautiful and peaceful. I honestly believe that’s what I loved most about it, how calm it seemed even though there was so much going on. No one was rushing and running around everywhere like they do back in NY. Everyone seemed to take their time and really enjoy themselves in the moment. I know it sounds cliché and hard to believe, but honestly that’s how it was, and I couldn’t get enough. Before we made our way back home we stopped by a little park that was in the centre of town.I had to put a picture of my mom in this post, she just looked so cute and she’s always the one who helps me with taking pictures for my blog so I had to show everyone just how amazing she is! And I will leave you with this last image of an entrance to someone’s home, I would love to come home to a place like this wouldn’t you?!Now I know this seems like the end but there will be one more post about the end of our trip! I didn’t want to overwhelm you guys and put everything into one post because believe it or not we really did quite a lot in the few days we were there. So stay tuned for that post which will be coming up as well as an outfit look that I wore on vacation!
